Welcome to our Squidoo Marketing Community!

Squidoo has become a very important part of my online marketing mix and I want to learn good marketing tips and techniques from other Squidoo lensmasters and also share what I know.

I have found Squidoo lensmasters to be intelligent, knowledgeable, and helpful, and look forward to your participation.

In addition to interacting on this lens, you are invited to join our Squidoo Marketing Community.

After a brief disruption, the Squidoo Marketing Community I created on Ning.com is once again alive and well and ready for your participation.

You are also welcome to come and tell us about your Squidoo marketing lenses in the Squidoo Lenses section of my A Year From Now Forum.

Of course it is, I'm not a dweeb, you know!

PopsToliver says:

I am learning how to do things by trail and error. This seems to me to be the best place to do that. I am going to have to learn to me more consistent about writing.

dave_s says:

I am learning and squidoo is a great place

ronpass says:

Yes, Squidoo is the hub of my marketing. I try to create a marketing wheel with Squidoo at the centre. Squidoo integrates my other marketing activities such as article writing, blogging, classified ads, Twitter, Facebook, etc. The more I use Squidoo the powerful it becomes, because Google starts to recognize expertise.

joseph n mascarenhas says:

After reading a lot and especialy from "Pot Pie Girl," a resounding yes!

Michey says:

Yes, and with opt-in on our lenses it will be even more valuable from from marketing prospective.
By the way, Thanks for all your help

OhMe says:

Oh yes, it seems to be a major part of my life right now

vbright105 says:

I have a lot more experience with Squidoo than Marketing, but I am learning some new marketing techniques and buying some of the techniques, like OWM. I think lenses can be very beneficial

homebizbuilder says:

Squidoo is definitely part of my marketing mix. Did you know that Squidoo is super highly ranked at Google? So any lens has a good rank just to start out with, even if your lens sucks, its all good. lol

aj2008 says:

Squidoo is a fantastic place to learn so much about writing and marketing on the internet. In fact I have learned so much that one of my lenses has got me some work. But I can't tell you anything about it at the moment!

Annie says:

I am new and learning here. So it is a part of my marketing mix and want to learn from the community to make it a larger part of my mix. Thanks for including me in the community.

Tiddledeewinks says:

Way YES! Squidoo is a wonderful place to promote your products or service for free and meet such nice fellow lensmasters here! It is an answer to my prayer to be able to make an income online, too. It's slow with dial-up, but I'm getting there. I'll probably NEVER stop making lenses now, and it's my main place to be on the internet now.

EelKat says:

Now that I've been on Squidoo a while and once I realized that my lenses were getting about 5 times the traffic as my blogs, suddenly I realized... hey, I can use this to my advantage! My next step was to analyze every aspect of where my traffic was coming from and which lenses people liked best and what they bought off of them. My goal now is to continue examining and tracking my stats and use the results to turn my time spent on Squidoo into a full time income. I think it can be done, and I intend to figure out how to do it.

spirituality says:

Heck - that's a main reason to be here. Or rather: a main reason I started out here. It's also one of the reasons I became more active. One lens turned into a major referrer for my site without hardly any effort on my part :)

linhuck says:

Seth Godin's the man! Squidoo rocks

GoodAdvice says:

Most definitely! I love Squidoo!

TeaLady says:

Reading Seth Godin's Meetball Sundae...maybe you've noticed we're not in Kansas anymore. (sorry, I just had to say that)

PatinKC says:

Squidoo is one of my favorite places to be online!

RedByron says:

I really like Squidoo for social networking. I've met a lot of good people with some unique ideas about how to market on the internet.

poddys says:

Yes it is, since lenses get lots of cross traffic in many different ways, but I don't believe in putting all my eggs into one basket.

Squidoo is helping my main sites to attract more traffic, and therefore more income, but in addition I have set up income streams in Squidoo - just need the right lenses to get the income flowing in...

Heck no, it's not worth my time and effort.

LeoSaraceni says:

Not a major part, as I can dedicate the time building a lens into my own blog/website and increase my rankings directly. I only bother with squidoo for things unrelated to my websites.
