Thursday, June 10, 2010 was Worldwide Squidoo Meetup Day!
I volunteered to coordinate the Los Angeles meetup. What we did was join forces with the Pasadena group and attend their meetup at a park in Pasadena.

Where and when was the meetup?
The meetup was scheduled for 12:00 noon at Brookside Park, 360 N. Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91103. The invitation lens for the Pasadena Meetup
I'm in Los Angeles, and I'm going to the meetup!

- I truly think this is a totally awesome idea! If I lived in LA, I would certainly want to participate. It would be great to actually meet in person. You are awesome!

- Great way to pass the word....Los Angeles is such a big area, and with all the suburbs, hard to narrow down a spot for all. Heather started one in Pasadena for this reason...for people that aren't actually "in" Los Angeles. Oh, and that time threw me...I kept thinking I don't want to be in LA at 8PM...so thanks for stating that this is just the default time.

A big success!!
The Pasadena Squidoo Meetup had the largest attendance of any of the Squidoo Worldwide Meetups. In recognition of that, we were all awarded Squidoo T-shirts!

- Seems all of you, just about, are close enough to LA to get together. I'll be lucky if I find another person in my whole county! If I could find someone close enough, and if the meeting were in the afternoon, I'd go as far as Monterey or Santa Barbara county. I'm hoping there's someone I don't know about yet.
