Networking on Message Board Forums

You have to do it. You have to let people know about your lenses - but HOW? One of the best ways is to network with other Squidoo lensmasters on Squidoo message board forums. There you'll meet lots of other lensmasters who have been where you are now, who understand your concerns, and who have answers for your questions.

Squid-U Message Board - AKA: The Lensmaster Lounge

...the most important Squidoo message board forum.

You're already registered at Squid-U with your Squidoo username and password, so be sure to visit the forum often. It is the best place to get your Squidoo questions answered.

Rocking the Squid

...message board forum for link-posting lensmasters.

Thomas C. created a new message board for his own backlinks, then decided to let us all have a go at it. Rocking the Squid has turned out to be a popular and fun place to hang out. Your lens promotion efforts are welcome there.

Lensroll Com Forum

...a message board within a popular Squidoo bookmarking community.

The message board at Lensroll.Com is a great forum for getting questions answered, especially if they are about Squidoo, Lensroll.Com, or sister-site Squoogle.Com, a new article directory.

The Squidoo Message Board Forum at StumbleUpon

...great opportunity to network.

Yes, networking on message boards with other Squidoo lensmasters is a necessary part of lensmastery.

SamyRoumieh says:

Yes I Believe--

Laddoo says:

the first time i actively participated in Squidu, within a couple of days, one of my lenses received over 10 ratings and another over 20 ratings. From then on, i have been hooked to Squidu, and i believe whatever little progress i have made on squidoo, i can safely attribute atleast 50% to my involvement on squidU. I didnt realise that there were other forums as well. This will only broaden the horizon.

HotDogGone2Play says:

Yes, we do think it's necessary. Especially since we're newbies and need much assistance and guidance. Guidance to show us the paths to where we need to get to, and do the things we need to do. It can be a maze of twist and turns, getting lost comes all too frustrating and time consumming. After all one of the most important things on our list of priorities, is to have fun in our ventures.

Jewelsofawe says:

definitely!

Joan4 says:

For sure - and networking is not only essential, it's fun!

AdamTaha says:

Yes, because like everything, squidoo is about people. By sharing in forums, getting involved in debates, sincerely involved in other discussions, you get to know people. Plus, your signature is there when you comment. So you don't really need to say much about your own lens but get involved genuinely.

CrypticFragments says:

yes, certainly...I get a lot of visits from SquidU and Lensroll.com
and I also discover a lot of interesting things there which help me improve as a lensmaster!

roysumit says:

Obviously because it helps learning a lot and quickly also, instead of going on one's own way.

InternetJunkie says:

I noticed that I get more visitors on days when I visit SquidU; so yes, it does help.

OhMe says:

I learn something new just about everytime I visit a forum. Yes, I do think message boards is a necessary part of lensmastery.

Susan52 says:

Indeed I do, and I know I don't do it enough.

spirituality says:

Oh, networking is essential. Whether you do it through message boards, commenting on other people's lenses or helping out or blogging - doesn't really matter. I think each of us has to find their own style.

But without networking, how will other lensmasters know your fabulous ;) lenses even exist? Let alone vote for them or link to them?

LindaJM says:

I've learned so much from reading the message boards - especially Squid-U.. I can't imagine having come this far at Squidoo without all the help and inspiration I've been getting from other lensmasters.

The_Homeopath says:

Important, yes. It certainly has helped me quite a bit.

No, this is just a waste of time.

Great Lens! I love Squidoo, and the message boards are a part I've fail at being involved with, but I've recently developed a desire to be more involved. I'm reading this Lens at just the right time, I really needed it, thanks!
