I suggest telling your readers to right-click these links and open them in a new tab.A bit more explanation:Pandora's so clever! It's an artificial intelligence music picker based on the choices of thousands of users. You tell it some of your favorite artists and songs, and it creates a radio station that plays similar music. Set-up takes 1-5 minutes. Then you refine it by giving thumbs up and thumbs down to stuff it plays, but I found it was almost spot-on the instant I'd named a couple artists:

- Earth started as a violent place, its surface churned by continuous volcanic eruptions and cloaked in an atmosphere that would have been poisonous to today's life-forms. Furthermore, the thin primeval atmosphere may have provided only scant protection from the young sun's harsh ultraviolet glare. Given these inhospitable conditions, scientists have long wondered: How did the first cells come to be nearly four billion years ago? [More]

Depressed body temperature may also have manifold effects beyond the ones described--anything from prolonging life span to inducing a lower metabolic state suitable for long-distance spaceflight.
