Text Module

I sit on earth among the dismembered building blocks of an ancient hostel at Epidauros, where the sick and their families stayed under the auspices of Asklepios. Through the trees I see a line of marble columns, a place defined by solid uprights and empty spaces, that is all that is left of the Abaton. There the sick once slept and dreamed their cures. Beside the Abaton, scaffolding conceals a round building with a labrynth beneath its floor, perhaps the tomb of the healer god, and perhaps where his snakes of rebirth were housed. Yesterday was Freud's 149th birthday.

Today I listen to the singing of wind through the pines, a faint rushing sound like the waves in the distant bay or the hiss of hidden snakes. Red poppies and white camomile, herbs used in folk medicine, mingle with scattered square-hewn stones.

Limits:The Most Important Thing, BlackBox: 500 characters.
StickyNote: 300 characters.
Talk Bubble: 100 characters.Notes:Can't change words "Here's My Favorite Link" in Big Arrow module.
Can't remove enclosing quotes in Talk Bubble.

Top Ten Squidoo Tips

BlackBox Module

Has a selection of different colors: blue, green, red, orange, gray.

500 character limit, automatically centered.

You may want to use CSS to add padding or to color the links yellow or some other high-contrast color.

I've also seen nifty use of background images.

StickyNote Module

Write a quick note to your readers as an aside that gets noticed.

Limit: 300 characters.

Links are Dofollow.

Important!

The Most Important Thing Module

Large block of text, italic by default.

A great way to sum up a section of your lens.

Character limit: 500 characters

I sometimes use CSS to change the font size, for example:

<b style="font-size: 70%> makes smaller text </b>

Use <i style="font-style: normal;">[...]</i> to disable the italics.

    Thanks for all the info on the specs for each module. I knew some of them had character limits, but I didn't know which ones were dofollow and nofollow.
