I love Music! I love Squidoo!
A quick introduction of your lensmaster Chef Keem...
Oh well, I moved on to utilize my musical talents as a songwriter, arranger, and record producer for CBS and Jupiter Records in Munich, Germany. I became a director for A&R, which means I discovered and developed new pop music artists. In one way, this was a wonderful time in my life and I write about it in my lens "The Sixties: Growing up in Munich". In another way, I party-ed way too much and my excesses led to a breakdown of my life as a musician.
After my emigration to the USA in 1981, I went through major changes in terms of personal healing and professional activities. I became a chef.
Today I have my own specialty food company and I enjoy playing and recording my music with the help of many readily available gadgets like my iMac, Garage Band software, and a couple of ekeyboards.
I love the fact that the music industry has changed dramatically in the favor of incredible creative opportunities for individuals. It's not necessarily the big record companies anymore that make the hits - it's more in the hands of us regular musical Joe's to create a remarkable product and take it wherever we want to go with it.
