Upload an avatar!
One of my favorite places to make an avatar is on Face Your Manga. You can create your own person and add a background for a fully customized manga-style avatar. It's really easy, however there are many other places to create your avatar in a different style if you like. This to the right is my avatar created on Face Your Manga!
Fill out your bio:
Don't be afraid to show of details of your life! Fill out your bio and let the world know all about you!

Writing Your Bio
When you write to your biography, it's important to remember one thing-just be yourself! Don't be shy about showing your sparkling personality through your bio! You don't have to go sharing private details like your full name or address, but talk about the things you love: your pets, your hobbies, your travels, your job (if you happen to love it). Don't be afraid to express yourself! Show off your awards...
If you've gotten an award, don't be afraid to show it off! People want to see your best lenses, so post your awards and link them to those great lenses! Don't forget to add it to your lens as well. The 2008 Giant Squid Awards are over, but the 2009 Giant Squid awards will be back around the end of the year. If you want to see all the 2008 winners, check them out here!
You can also win awards from different groups, and have badges for top lensrank, lens of the day, and more!
Use your buttons!
Don't forget to put buttons to your Twitter, blog, and more...

Use buttons like from TwitterButtons.com to get your Twitter noticed. You can also use buttons to link to your blogs, Tagfoot, Facebook, Flickr, and more! Buttons add some color and flair to your profile, and also are easier to spot than plain old links.
“Don't forget to turn on the Contact Me button so other lensmasters can contact you!”
Connect Squidoo with Social Applications
Squidoo gives you the ability to connect your Squidoo account with your Twitter and Facebook! This makes it easier to send your updates to Twitter and Facebook, which will help you drive traffic to your lenses! Join the fanclubs of others...

Join other fanclubs! When you do, people take notice of you and will visit your profile, and maybe you'll get some new fans too! You get what you give.
