Whether it's a photo of yourself or an avatar, you need a picture to let people know you're real.One of my favorite places to make an avatar is on Face Your Manga. You can create your own person and add a background for a fully customized manga-style avatar. It's really easy, however there are many other places to create your avatar in a different style if you like. This to the right is my avatar created on Face Your Manga!

Fill out the external links, as seen to the right, to promote whatever you might have...your blog, CafePress, Etsy, Zazzle, MySpace, Facebook, and more!You can also fill out your Other Favorite Lenses, if you're feeling a bit charitable. :) Show off your favorite lenses and help out other lensmasters!

Writing Your Bio
When you write to your biography, it's important to remember one thing-just be yourself! Don't be shy about showing your sparkling personality through your bio! You don't have to go sharing private details like your full name or address, but talk about the things you love: your pets, your hobbies, your travels, your job (if you happen to love it). Don't be afraid to express yourself! Show off your awards...
If you've gotten an award, don't be afraid to show it off! People want to see your best lenses, so post your awards and link them to those great lenses!
