How to Have Success on Squidoo

One of the reasons I was draw to Squidoo was the success stories of other people who has used the platform and made money. It also seemed like a good place to share ideas, that wouldn't quite fit my normal blog and to appeal to new audiences. For most people it's the money that attracts them, which is why I've compiled my favourite Squidoo success stories below to help others join the platform and see that success can be attained. This is a fairly new lens so I'm happy to hear of other people with success on Squidoo so please leave a comment.

Janet21 Squidoo Success Story

Janet21 is a stay at home Mum who earns her income from Squidoo and therefore is in a pretty good place to show the success that can be achieved if you have more than a few nights to spend on the platform. Her main post is Are you a Stay at Home Mom (or Dad) Interested in Earning a Monthly Income? which is an overview of the lessons she has learnt. As I write this in Dec 2010 her total Squidoo earnings are $31,028.54 which is nothing to be scoffed at. She even includes a screenshot of her account to prove it. Not bad at all!

Mark-Nehs $50 a Day Challenge

Although it hasn't gone as well as planned Mark-Nehs attempted to make $50 a day from Squidoo. He started a lens called $50 a day from Squidoo to monitor his attempt at this quest which is a fascinating read with useful tips for new users. He's currently at the $3 a day mark so there's a way to go, but I find his instruction fun so it's worth a read for some work in progress Squidoo success tips.

WeddingZazzle Success Story

WeddingZazzle's success story was first intended as a bit of a joke. An article entitled I Made 68 Cents On Squidoo And You Can Too! was a funny look at how everyone talked about making money on Squidoo but how hard it really was. Fast forward a few months and they too were seeing success on the platform. Highest payout? An impressive $247.62 in one month. Proof that even when you feel like giving up, success can be just a few good lenses away.

Michelle89 aka Squidoo Girl

Michelle89 is one of my favourite Lensmasters because she is very honest with her approach to Squidoo and also shares everything she learns at Squidoo Girl.com. She joined Squidoo to help pay off debt and was earning money within a month, a real inspiration for those who want quick wins with Squidoo. Her highest earnings were $495.90 although with the pace she is going at you can expect that to grow each month. You can follow her Squidoo Journey here.

Success Story #5 - Spirituality

My day job is in SEO, so I'm always interested to see how people manage to use SEO to get Squidoo traffic and money. That's why the SEO traffic stats lens from Spirituality is a really good read. Her highest monthly payout was $1131.77, so clearly there is something to be said for her methods of driving traffic to lenses.

That's me! Ok so I'm still writing my own Squidoo success story, and in terms of making money it's very early days. However I have discovered some interesting ways to Get Free Stuff Using Squidoo so that's probably the best success story I can share for now. I hope to one day be as good at Squidoo as the examples above, so if you have any further tips I'd love to hear them.

This list is based on the Lensmasters who were kind enough to post their earnings online, however there are many more Squidoo success stories left untold. A quick look at the Top 100 posts reveals a lot of the same names appearing over and over showing that perhaps the most successful users are those we hear nothing about. One thing is for sure, as a platform there is money to be made, and people are making it.

same as what i read about internet-marketers in general - only 4 % earn more than 500usd/month
also encouraging to see that there are those who make more then 5.000 on squidoo
