Answering the Giant Squid Summer School Challenge
In June the invitation was issued to "Get your Giant Squid Masters Degree this summer!" by joining the Giant Squid Summer School. Over an 8 week term Giant Squids would learn how to become Giant Squid Master, learning from the Giant Squid greats to truly rock Squidoo.
Even thought I was teaching two online classes over the summer the Challenge was too enticing to pass up. Where else can you earn a "Master's Degree" in 8 weeks.
As part of summer school we received daily lessons, weekly challenges, and our own private Giant Squids forum to discuss projects and ideas. The main requirements were to complete all of the 8 weekly lens assignments to graduate from Giant Squid Summer School with a Masters degree!
Here are the list of lenses that I created to complete the Giant Squid Summer School Challenge. Some weeks I only did one lens, other weeks, more than one lens. Many of the lenses reflected activities that I was doing with my daughters, books we were reading or some of the sad events of the summer.
All in all it was definitely easier completing this Squidoo Master's Thesis, than my Master's Degree in Comparative Pathology.
