Oh, I Love Squidoo!

I am by nature a list-maker. I make lists of everything! As I started learning about Squidoo and making lenses, I started making lists. Return often. As I learn and grow in Squidoo land, I am sure my lists will change also. Join me on this fantastic discovery -- Squidoo! Thank you all for adding to the list of Squidoo education lenses on this site! It has quickly become a very helpful directory and I am thankful for you all!

Squidoo Daily Check List

1. Check ratings and status of all lenses.
2. Visit SquidU forum, read, ask and answer questions where appropriate.
3. Improve lenses in draft stage.
4. Update any lens over a week old. Ping!
5. Visit SquidUtils and learn something new!
6. Launch a new lens.
7. Market any new lenses.
8. Find more lensmasters on Facebook! Join a Facebook group. Post a new lens to Facebook. Visit new lenses you see on Facebook.
9. Twitter - visit and chat - make new friends - Twitter a new lens or an important update.
10. Have fun!
At the end of the day, ask:
1. Did I create today?
2. Did I market?
3. Did I visit others?
4. Was I a good Squidoo citizen today?
5. Did I keep track of all new ideas?

3. Twitter lenses throughout the week. If you are not twittering, you are missing some great traffic! You will lose your followers if you just post your site upgrades one after the other! One or two links a day is plenty! Interact and reply to comments. Get involved. Find new friends with the same interests.

My Favorite Keyword Search Tool

Recently I have been experimenting with Jaaxy and so far, I am very pleased. Jaaxy is fast and with just a few searches, you will have a list of keywords ready to use. It's easy to understand. You can easily see if your chosen keyword has a green button. The green button tells you to "go" - that the key word is a good one to use.

New Time Management Tricks

Every day I learn something new at Squidoo, and now I have learned better how to manage my time.
Keep a little notebook beside your desk. Make a list of any 10-15 minute item you need to do on Squidoo. During your workday, as you have a 10 or 15 minute break, cross one of those things off the list.

What can you do in 10 minutes or less?
Visit another lens.
Update a lens.
Join a group.
Visit SquidU.
Participate in a twttrstrm.

Most of us do not have long uninterrupted blocks of time to work on Squidoo. Keeping a short-time list really helps!
