Oh, I Love Squidoo!

I am by nature a list-maker. I make lists of everything! As I started learning about Squidoo and making lenses, I started making lists. Return often. As I learn and grow in Squidoo land, I am sure my lists will change also. Join me on this fantastic discovery -- Squidoo! One Week Marketing

I am following the One Week Marketing plan - one week at a time - every week in 2009! I love having a daily list of things to do! And instructions on how to do it. And the free resources to ensure my success! If you are looking for expert training in Internet Marketing and Squidoo, One Week Marketing is perfect for you! There are also many experts on Squidoo to advise you on creating a new lens. See the videos and links on this site. This is most definitely not a complete list-- there are dozens of great educational sites on Squidoo about Squidoo. Find a good one? Add it to the link list below. We will all appreciate that!

The most important little piece of advice I have to offer is that you become active at SquidU. SquidU is a friendly forum where you can meet other lensmasters, ask questions and get real answers, and perhaps help someone else!

Join Groups and support other members. When you join a group, you are committing yourself and your lens to the ultimate success of all. Visit, comment, rate daily.

Squidoo Daily Check List

1. Check ratings and status of all lenses.
2. Visit SquidU forum, read, ask and answer questions where appropriate.
3. Improve lenses in draft stage.
4. Update any lens over a week old. Ping!
5. Visit SquidUtils and learn something new!
6. Launch a new lens.
7. Market any new lenses.
8. Review Top Squidoorati News
9. Twitter - visit and chat - make new friends - Twitter a new lens or an important update.
10. Have fun!
At the end of the day, ask:
1. Did I create today?
2. Did I market?
3. Did I visit others?
4. Was I a good Squidoo citizen today?
5. Did I keep track of all new ideas?

Weekly Squidoo Action List

1. Mention lenses on your blog.
2. Stumble, Digg, etc all new lenses
3. Twitter lenses throughout the week. If you are not twittering, you are missing some great traffic! You will lose your followers if you just post your site upgrades one after the other! One or two links a day is plenty! Interact and reply to comments. Get involved. Find new friends with the same interests.
4. Update CafePress and any other stores.
5. Mention your new lenses on nings, forums and blogs.
6. Never ever spam!
