From my own point of view, I think that squidoo and blogspot should not be considered as competitors but they should be used in synergy to each other. Each website of them has its own pros and cons so why should I choose between them while I could use both of them. For example, if someone says that squidoo has a bigger portion of visitors so why should I neglect the other portion, which is viewing blogspot. I could easily backlink my squidoo lens to my blogspot so I can exchange visitors between both sites.
