How To Get Free Traffic To Your Squidoo Lens

 

Over time, squidoo has changed their algorithm on how they rank lenses. My lenses have seen dramatic lens rankings increases just by sending more traffic to them.

Now I don't want you to go and join one of those traffic swap network things. Those suck, and people don't really care about what they're looking at.

I want you to join up at stumble upon, and then email me your lens, and then join the forums at seo.com, and get some of the other people there to stumble your lens. That's it.

Oh yeah, submit your link in the Lens Master Directory for FREE.

The First Step to Increased Squidoo Rankings 

You can get a great initial rush of traffic from Stumble upon. But if you want consistent traffic, you have to do a number of things. One of them is to update your lens at least every week. You don't have to necessarily add something to your lens, just tweak it a little bit, and make sure to Publish it.

A published lens means fresh content to Squidoo, and as part of the LensRank Algorithm, a fresh site ranks higher than an outdated site, all things considered.

Keyword Research will help you create content

Make a great lens. It's been said before, and it bears saying again. The more unique content you have on your lens, the better. And if you do your keyword research using something like google.com/keywords, you'll be able to find keywords people are searching for.

A Good Goal to Make Good Profit from Squidoo 

No matter what, your lens rank is going to fluctuate. But if you can keep it in the top 2,000 overall, you stand a really good chance of getting just as much payout as a lens in the top 1,000. That comes from one of the Squid Giants, so it is almost Gospel Truth.
