FAQs: Voting

Voting is important, as it contributes to the ranking of a lens

In addition to voting for a lens, you should also sign the Guestbook. That way the lensmaster will know you have visited and can check out and vote for your lens also.
  1. How do I vote for a lens? Look at the voting stars at the top of the lens. Next to the Rating stars you will see "Your rating: " Click the number of stars you want for rating the lens (5 stars is best). Once you have voted, the stars will turn yellow. Click HERE for picture.
  2. What does my lens Rating mean? The lens rating tells you how many people have voted on your lens and the number of yellow stars shows what the average rating is. Click HERE for picture.

Questions About Modules

Adding, Editing, Moving, and Deleting

Modules are the building blocks of your lens. Here you can learn the basics, which will help you create and organize your lens effectively.

Note: When you create your lens, certain modules are automatically added, depending on the type of lens you selected. You can customize your lens by managing your lens modules.
  1. How do I add a module? First, edit your lens by clicking the "Edit this lens" link above your bio. At the upper-left click the Add Modules button. Click HERE for picture.
  2. Which type of module should I add? When first getting started, you might want to stick with a few of the basic modules, which are found by clicking the Basic link in the Module Picker page. Of the 17 Basic Modules, here are some easy ones for beginners:
