How do I donate
Squidoo splits its revenue with its "co-op" of lensmasters. 5% goes straight to charity, first. Then 50% goes to the lensmasters. 45% goes to Squidoo. The site estimates that nearly half of all the lensmasters on the site are donating their royalties to any of 65 featured charities. To donate your lensmaster's 50% to charity, go to the edit mode of a lens, edit your "payment options" in the right hand side bar to change to the Squidoo Charity Fund or your selected charity.
If you want to change your payment options for all lenses, change your "Global Payment Settings" in your profile.

What else can I do ?

Why not start a lens for your favorite charity !
Go to the Headquarters page of your selected charity and click on the big orange "Build My Own Lens" button and you'll be able to create a co-branded page that spreads awareness of and will keep giving to your selected charity.
Of course you can also go to your charities' website and make a direct donation as well !

Warm as charity: why giving feels good
The Age Newspaper June 15, 2007

The MadWheels Program currently provides vehicles, at no cost to the recipients, to needy people in the Launceston Tasmanian community. Volunteers work together in the evenings to repair and refurbish donated vehicles, and then present them to families that have a demonstrated need.
At the same time the MadWheels Program provides a mentoring and teaching environment - to those who wish to be involved in areas such as automotive mechanical, panel beating and paintwork training
