A pledge for Squidoo lensmasters
2008 was a momentous year for me on Squidoo.
- I celebrated my first anniversary on March 11.
- I became a Giant Squid on May 2.
- I came to terms with my Squidoo Addiction!

The Pledge
Clearly my addiction helped me achieve the status of Giant Squid but in April 2008 I realized that I needed to change my Squidoo habits. I was heedlessly creating new lenses and neglecting old ones. I was creating lenses and not even developing them. How wasteful!I made a pledge to myself to do two things differently that will help me manage my addiction and give back to Squidoo as well.
Step One
I pledge to maintain and develop existing lenses in a balanced relationship to lens creation.
Step Two
I pledge to help new lensmasters become Squidoo addicts too and to recognize those outstanding lensmasters who inspire us all
I think these two steps will help me live up to my idea of what a Giant Squid should be!

I think I may have taken just the exact same pledge around a year ago - it was around the time we launched Professional Squids ;)

Yes, certainly. All for keepng my lenses up to date and not creating useless ones that don't fit in with a general pattern.

I would love to take a pledge but sometimes get bored of beautifying and improving my lens. Not ready yet but will take it up soon.

I don't know about the second part, sure I'll help them. But make them addicts... (doesn't sound so healthy)

- i update several lenses daily but time escapes me to do more if I am to pay attention to rating other peopl'e lenses and keeping up with the monsters and quests, etc. Great lens and featured on The Beating Heart of Squidoo
