- Write about something you know Create a lens on a topic that you are passionate about.
- Make it Useful Provide useful, unique content.
- Jazz Things Up Jazz up your lens with photos from Flickr. You can use photos from the creative commons as long as you provide a link back to the photographer.
- Keep it Fresh Update your lenses to keep them current.
- Create your own traffic Use html to link to your other lenses and blogs.
- Wordtracker Use this free tool to find popular tags
- Squidoo Directory Add your lenses to the squidoo directory
- Join Groups Joining groups works like a link exchange. They get more traffic and so do you!
- Blog it Blog about your favourite squidoo lenses to create two way traffic.
- Become a Giant You can apply to become a Giant Squid when you have made at least 50 quality lenses.
