We know you've got the potential to become a terrific Squidoo lensmaster but what else are you good at? In other words, what do you do for fun when you're not at work or on Squidoo?

Do you have a hobby? Do you enjoy cooking or doing home improvement projects? Is there a sport you play on the weekends? Are you a collector or a crafter?

This special SquidQuest is all about you and what you like to do.

Read on to learn how to complete this fun SquidQuest and collect a cool 200 SquidPoints.

Tips to help you craft a terrific lens about your favorite hobby

Choose a hobby that you love and already know a lot about or something you're willing to research so that you'll have all the information you need to help others.

Use several different modules on your hobby lens. Look for Youtube videos demonstrating your hobby. Find the most helpful book about your hobby on Amazon.com and feature it in an Amazon Spotlight Personal Review module (Don't forget to tell folks why you think that book is a must-have for hobbyists. Find links to more good information (at websites, blogs or articles) on the web about your hobby and feature them using a link list. Try adding a poll module or duel module with an intriguing question about your hobby to add interaction to your new lens.

Add some photos.Photos go a long way as visual helpers when explaining things about your hobby and they make your lenses look great. If you aren't using your own photos, don't forget to use creativecommons.org or a similar site to find photos you have permission to use and always add a link back to the original.

Focus on one thing about your hobby. Don't try to share everything about your hobby on one lens. (You can always make more lenses that go together.) Look at the following list to get ideas to help you choose a hobby lens topic.

  • Create a lens about the history of your hobby
  • Create a How-To lens about your hobby.
  • Create a lens featuring a project people who enjoy your hobby can do. Share step-by-step instructions.
  • Create a book review lens about the best book for people who enjoy your hobby.
  • Create a lens that showcases a landmark event that takes place dedicated to your hobby.
  • Share ideas on a lens about the best places to shop for things that go with your hobby.
  • Be creative and come up with another way to show off your expertise about your hobby.

    Hmm... There are probably already a lot of lenses about the things I do... there's vegan baking, which I'm sure has many lenses, and video games. What can I write about video games, though? Ok, I should stop putting my thoughts in a comment.
