Hey Giants! Are you up for a Purple Star challenge?

If you are, we're looking for some top notch Valentine's Day gift idea lenses to add to a brand new Best of Squidoo MonsterBoard.

When it comes to Valentine's Day gifts, the first things that usually come to mind are cards, candy, and flowers but we know our creative geniuses, aka our Giant Squid lensmasters, can do better than that. We want you to think outside of that heart-shaped Russell Stover box and come up with something fresh and new in the way of gifts to be given on February 14th.

To complete this SquidQuest, create a NEW lens before midnight (EST) on February 2, 2012 that features a creative, inspired, and unique Valentine's Day gift idea. We'll add the best of the bunch to the special Valentine's Day Gift Idea MonsterBoard which will be published on 2/3/2012 and sprinkle spectacular lenses with Purple Stars.

We're looking for fresh new lenses that feature unique ideas for Valentine's Day gifts.
  • 1Craft a new lens that features a unique, inspired, and creative Valentine's Day gift idea.

    Your lens can spotlight one special item, or list several items that fit together by way of a niche topic such as Valentine's Day gift ideas for a computer geek, Top 10 Valentine's Day gifts for a female football fan, Valentine's Day Puzzles, Crafty homemade Valentine's Day gift ideas, or any other niche topic you choose.
  • 2Submit your new Valentine's Day gift idea lens before midnight (EST) on February 2, 2012 using the Quest Tab on your dashboard for the chance to appear on our new Best of Squidoo Unique Valentine's Day gift ideas MonsterBoard and a shot at getting a shiny new Purple Star on the lens.

    All lenses submitted will receive +200 SquidPoints.

    What a fun quest! I escaped from modern life and reality with some suggestions for enjoying an old fashioned romantic Valentine's Day with sleigh rides, ice-skating, bayberry candles and open fires.
