A (mostly) reading quest - No lensbuilding required!

Howdy lensmaster! Welcome to SquidLiking 101.

As you may already know, SquidLiking is the way people on Squidoo let each other know that they enjoyed reading a lens. It's a vote of confidence, a virtual high five and a fun way to let a lensmaster know their good work was noticed and appreciated.

SquidLiking is easy. When you really like a lens, simply click on the "like" button that contains the Squidoo logo image (found at the top of every lens) and you'll see it darken and the stat counter will move up. But there's more to know about SquidLiking than just clicking a button.

This SquidQuest is a quick lesson on the ins and outs and the do's and don'ts of Squidliking lenses on Squidoo.

Read on to learn how to complete this SquidQuest and earn a cool 100 SquidPoints for doing it.

SquidQuest Instructions

Do steps 1 through 4 before midnight (EST) on February 1, 2012 to complete this SquidQuest and gain 100 SquidPoints.
  • 1Read this great post at Squidoo HQ about SquidLiking: The Do's and Don't of SquidLiking.
  • 2And while you're at it, brush up on what SquidPoints are too by reading another terrific post at Squidoo HQ: What the Heck are SquidPoints (and why do I want them)?
  • 3After you've read those two posts, explore Squidoo until you find a lens you really like and give it a SquidLike.
  • 4To complete the quest, submit the lens url address (the one you just SquidLiked) using the Quest Tab on your DashBoard before midnight (EST) on February 1, 2012.

    oops, I have already read these lenses while learning to use Squidoo, and before I received this quest :-). I have liked some lenses because I've been reading at least two of the featured ones almost every day -- I like good writing and good stories -- So, what do I do now for this quest? LOL.
