The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (RJA) is a pop punk band formed in 2003 in Middleburg, Florida. Current band members are Ronnie Winter, the lead vocalist; Duke Kitchens, lead guitarist; Joey Westwood, bass; Jon Wilkes, drummer; and Matt Carter, guitar. All members perform backup vocals. The name of the band does not have a particular meaning. It is up to the fan or hater to determine what a "Red Jumpsuit Appartaus" is. Lead singer Ronnie Winter is quoted on the band's official page about the name: "It's 100 percent completely arbitrary."
