Squidtop is a blog platform built on the Wordpress system that allows squidoo lensmasters to create their own blogs to promote themselves, their projects, and their lenses.

How does Squidtop Work?

Squidtop allows you to create a blog to talk about your squidoo experiences or to help you establish yourself as an expert in your topic.

It can be used in two ways, the 'fast' and the 'traditional' way.

The 'Fast' Way to Post on Squidtop
When you are logged in a 'twitter' type box shows up above your blog, simply type in a quick little blurb or post, add a few tags, and click 'Post It!' and your post is done!

The 'Traditional' Way to Post on Squidtop
When you enter your 'site admin' area you can go to the 'write' tab and write a full post just like any other Wordpress blog. This is great for doing a writeup on how your Squidoo adventure is going or a quick review of one of your lenses.

Whichever way you choose, it's quick, fun, and helps you build your brand and your traffic to your lenses quickly.
