Spotted Saddle Horses
A relatively new horse breed, a Spotted Saddle Horse can descend from many different breeds of gaited horses, including Tennessee Walking Horse and Missouri Fox Trotting Horse, but with the added requirement of a bold coat color known as "pinto" or spotted. There are many variations of color that apply, which is a topic for another lens, another day.
Another colorful gaited horse breed, combining the smooth natural gait with pinto spotted coat patterns, is the Spotted Mountain Horse included with the other Mountain Horse breeds.

Spotted Saddle Horses
The Spotted Saddle horse is a relatively new breed of horse that was developed by crossing Spanish-American type pinto horses with gaited horse breeds (such as the Tennessee Walking Horse) to produce a colorful horse that was smooth gaited and possessed strength and stamina. The breed has a reputation for being gentle and easy to handle, surefooted and agile, good on steep and rough trails.
