Get Ready To Dance A Jig
I've been on the look out for some fun line dances for St. Patrick's Day Parties. So far I have come up with some danced to traditional Irish music and some with Country music.
From dancing to "Jig About" or " I Feel Lucky", these dances will help set the scene for you St. Patrick's Day Celebrations.
As I have suggested on my other line dance pages, send this out to your friends on Facebook or through E-mail. Pick a dance or so, have everyone learn the same dance and be ready to do it when you get together. ( There is a Facebook Like Button at the top of the page for your convenience)

Line Dancers From Ireland
In 2010, I attended the World Championships of Country Dance in Nashville Tennessee. I had the good fortune to meet some dancers from Ireland who had come to compete in the couples divisions as well as line dancing.
While I am setting out for a while, I am very happy to see that they are doing so well in Line Dance Competitions.
At this years UCDWC World Championships held in Orlando, Florida, Eleanor Carvill from Ireland became the World Champion In the Open Novice Line Dance Division. Lara Carvill placed second overall in the Open Advanced Division.
It takes much more than the Luck Of The Irish to accomplish what they have. I know that they train hard and practice to become the best.
They travel and compete at different UCWDC sanctioned events all over the world and enjoy success at those events also.
While I am setting out for a while, I am very happy to see that they are doing so well in Line Dance Competitions.
