Irish at Heart Tissue Box Cover Free Plastic Canvas Pattern
The finished plastic canvas project measures 5"x5"x5.5". It fits a boutique tissue box (the square ones).
Using just 2 plastic canvas stitches (continental and gobelin), it is a great project for beginners. It uses only 3 colors of yarn and features cute little sparkly shamrock buttons. It was designed by Jennifer Robyn Designs. I hope you enjoy it!

* Green Yarn
* 4 - 1 inch Shamrock Buttons
* Green Thread
* Scissors
Also helpful would be a needle threader and a plastic canvas hole/rib counter.
I used light green canvas, but you also use clear or white. I used deep forest green yarn by Loops and Threads, White by Red Heart, and Sage Green By Vanna's Choice. Feel free to use any green and dark green yarn you have on hand.

Assembling your tissue cover

You want to arrange the sides so that the 2 identical sides will be across from each other. Whipstitch the top of the sides to the tissue cover top using dark green yarn.

Next whipstitch the sides together to form the box, using dark green yarn. I found it easiest to start at the top of each side and and work to the bottom.

Last overcast the bottom edge in dark green.

Congrats! You have finished your St. Patrick's Day Plastic Canvas Tissue Cover!
