Question?

Okay what causes a PS3 hardware failure (YLoD)? Could it be the HDD causing the problem? I ask because I swapped my 60GB HDD with a 250GB one, so if my PS3 gets YLoD (God forbid), then to save all my save games and stuff couldnt I replace the 250GB HDD with the 60GB HDD when I send it to Sony to get it repaired then put the 250GB one back in when I get the PS3 back? Or would this just cause the replacement PS3 to get hardware failure as well? Its just that its not Hardware Failure that worries me, its losing all my save data and trophies.
