Twenty years have passed since Darth Bane, reigning Dark Lord of the Sith, demolished the ancient order devoted to the dark side and reinvented it as a circle of two: one Master to wield the power and pass on the wisdom, and one apprentice to learn, challange, and ultimately usurp the Dark Lord in a duel to the death. The Darth Bane novels are highly recommended because Darth Bane is everything we love in the Sith. He's brutal, treacherous, and out to conqure the galaxy using any means neccessary.

This is another book that is a pretty short at only 296 pages, and should take you no more than a week to read. Plus if you're a fan of the expanded universe, this one is hard to keep your hands off of.
