Star Wars Halloween Costumes for Your Dogs

There are several characters from the Star Wars movie that make great costume ideas for dogs. I wish that every character were available, but the only three I could find are Yoda, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader. Fortunately, all three of these costumes are great for Halloween and so funny! I can't decide which one is my favorite.

One reason why these costumes are so funny is that they all have "arms" on them. This makes it look like the characters are standing there. I especially like this effect with Yoda, since he is so short.

Each of these costumes are in two pieces. One is the headpiece, while the other is a jumpsuit with arms.

These costumes are made in the USA.

Princess Leia Halloween Costume for Dogs

mickey mouse dog costumeThe Princess Leia dog costume is the familiar white robes and bun hair from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It was made in the USA by Rubies, one of the largest costume companies.

It is made of polyester and has two pieces. One piece is the jumpsuit. This is decorated with the belt and includes two arms to make it look like Leia is standing (on two feet). The other piece is the headpiece, which has the hair arranged in the famous bun style that Carrie Fisher wore in the first movie. Your dog will get lots of laughs from this outfit. Be sure to choose the correct size when ordering.

Darth Vader Dog Halloween Costume

darth vader dog costumeThe last, but not least, of the Star Wars dog costumes is Darth Vader. This is the most detailed costume and is perhaps the best done of the three. Darth Vader is the evil Jedi, or Sith, and father to both Luke and Leia. Although the villain of the original Star Wars trilogy, he is redeemed in the end.

This costume was made in the US and is polyester. It uses a tie closure. There are two pieces to this: the jumpsuit with the attached arms and the headpiece, which looks like part of Darth Vader's helmet.

There are several sizes available, so be sure to select the correct one when ordering.

yoda dog costumeOf all the Star Wars dog costumes, Yoda seems the most fitting. After all, the size is about right! The wise Jedi leader with a funny way with words is recognizable to almost everyone thanks to his big green ears.

This costume comes with two pieces. One is the robe that Yoda wore. This has attached arm pieces. The other is the headpiece, which has the large green ears. This costume was made in the US.
