Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers by Hasbro
Hasbro, using the same Star Wars lightsaber models orignally created by Master Replicas, but now at a lower price, offers replica Star Wars Force FX lightsabers that are available to everyone.
Each Force FX lightsaber comes with a grip, blade and display base. Each one lights up, and makes one of 4 sounds digitally recorded from the Star Wars films, each one identical to the design of the lightsabers in the movie including length and color.
The lightsabers are beautiful as display pieces and durable as props for conventions and other activities (Hasbro discourages fighting or dueling with them, they aren't toys after all, but they are tough and can take the occasional drop, wall hit or other abuse).
Some models have not been cleared for Hasbro and are still available from Master Replicas only. Wherever available, the Hasbro model is less expensive than the MR model.
See all of Hasbro's and Master Replica's lines of Star Wars Force FX replica lightsabers and start your collection today.
These are perfect for costuming purposes as they are authentic enough to impress people and sturdy enough to be carried around and even swung in limited engagements. They look just as good on your hip at a convention or on your mantel, shelf or entertainment center at home.

Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber Features
The Force FX Lightsabers are light, durable, authentic-looking and feature-packed.Each one is built from a lightweight aluminum hilt and die cast metal parts and a permanently attached polycarbonate blade, both designed to replicate the lightsabers from the movies as accurately and beautifully as possible, while keeping weight low.
Each lightsaber has 4 sounds digitally recorded from the movies - power up, power down, swing/idle hum and clash. The power up/down sounds accompany the working power button and sound as the blade lights up and shuts off (sequentially, like a real lightsaber blade). The hum works when being held, and changes pitch as it is swung through the air. The clash sound goes off anytime the blade lightly taps something. When the power is off, the blade appears silver or clear.
Each lightsaber weighs between 3 and 4 pounds so it is light to carry as part of a costume, and they are really, really bright, making it appropriate for trick or treaters.
Every lightsaber also includes a base to rest it on for display purposes.
All of the blades are approximately 44 inches long except for the diminutive Yoda's blade which is about 33 inches long.
All Star Wars Force FX lightsabers take 3 AAA or AA batteries to operate.
Coolest new lightsaber? Yoda's. Why? Pretty much because it's the perfect size for kids, and because of the impact it had when Yoda stepped up and went into action in Episode II and III.
For classic cool, you can't go wrong with Vader's lightsaber. It reflects the design of Anakin's hooded lightsaber in Episode III, but carries more ominous black and adds the iconic red blade.

Darth Maul Lightsaber
In Episode I, the only thing more amazing than the enigmatic, acrobatic Darth Maul was the revelation of his double-bladed lightsaber, never seen before or since.Hasbro has replicated this blade in it's damaged version after being split during the fight with Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi.
Features one red blade characteristic of the Sith, emanating from the non damaged end, and offers an adapter to allow you to attach two together for a double blade. Second blade is not included.

Obi Wan Kenobi Lightsaber - Episode I
Featured in Episode I and lost during the climactic battle with Darth Maul, here is Obi Wan Kenobi's lightsaber from Episode I, glowing in his characteristic blue seen in Episode II through IV. Obi Wan Kenobi Force FX Lightsaber - Episode I

Yoda Lightsaber - Episodes II and III
Yoda proves that size matters not in Episode II versus Count Dooku and against Palpatine in Episode III.His green lightsaber is fitted to his stature, but is no less devastating against whatever he comes in contact with.

Count Dooku (Darth Tyranus) Lightsaber - Episodes II and III
Count Dooku's elegant hilt is prominently displayed during his battles in Episode II and III, featuring the red blade of the Sith. The curving hilt is unique of all lightsabers and is a fitting prop to the commanding Christopher Lee as Count Dooku.
Used in Episode II as he toys with Anakin and Obi Wan, and against Yoda, also used against him in his last battle against Anakin and Obi Wan.

Obi Wan Kenobi Lightsaber - Episode III
Obi Wan's lightsaber is much fancier in Episode III, featured in his battle with General Grievous. This model still sports Obi Wan's customary blue blade, but has much more detail than the simpler lightsaber from Episode I.The model is an original MR model, which carries a slightly higher price tag and is of the same MR/Hasbro quality.

Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber - Episode III
Featured in Episodes III, Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber is used in the fight against against Obi Wan Kenobi. In the final fight against Count Dooku, his lightsaber is green, but this one is lost later in the movie, replaced by the blue lightsaber. It is this lightsaber that is recovered by Obi Wan after their battle to be handed down to Luke in Episode IV.

Luke Skywalker Lightsaber - Episode IV
Although it's supposed to be the same lightsaber claimed by Obi Wan after his battle with Anakin in Episode III, and held until he can give it to Luke in Episode IV, it's had a bit of a refit. Even so it is authentically matched to the model used in Episode IV.Still in Jedi blue, Luke's lightsaber is used occasionally through Episode IV and used to fight Vader in Episode V before being lost during that battle.

Darth Vader Lightsaber
After being reconstructed at the end of Episode III, Anakin, now Darth Vader, has to replace the lightsaber he lost at the hands of Obi Wan. In Episodes IV through VI he wields the black hilted, red bladed lightsaber that was so iconic for decades.Darth Vader uses this blade to dispatch Obi Wan in Episode IV, dismember Luke during their climactic meeting in Episode V, and finally loses it during his last battle with Luke aboard the second Death Star in Episode VI.

Mace Windu Lightsaber
One of the most popular and unique lightsabers belongs to Mace Windu. Used to devastating effect in Episode II, Mace uses his original purple bladed lightsaber to dispatch Jango Fett in Episode II and against Palpatine in Episode III.Samuel L. Jackson who plays Mace Windu asked for the purple color specifically, and is the only Jedi to have this color. The hilt of his lightsaber is also nicely designed with golden accents.
Windu's lightsaber was lost when he was disarmed by Anakin during the fight with Sidious.
The Mace Windu lightsaber is only available as an exclusive from Master Replicas and commands a higher price.

Asajj Ventress
Although not featured in the prequel movies, Asajj Ventress did a lot behind the scenes for Count Dooku during the Clone Wars and killed a lot of Jedi, obsessing over finishing off both Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi. Too bad, she would have made a great secondary villain in the third prequel.
