Lego has been creating Star Wars ships for a long time. With the passing of Star Wars episodes 1-3, it seems, the lego star wars ships have become more popular than ever.

For each Star Wars trilogy, the top 10 Lego Star Wars ships are listed. The lego ships from the 1st trilogy, Episodes 4-6, are pretty expensive now and are mainly collector items.

Legos are great gifts for boys ages 7 to about 12. Lego does a great job of making different sets for the different age groups, typically the more legos in a box the older the age group.

2012 Lego Star Wars Ships

One of the most impressive 2012 lego Star Wars ships is the Super Star Destroyer. At over 3,000 lego pieces and weighin over 15 pounds, this isn't a gift for a 3rd grader.

Star Wars Episode 4 - A New Hope introduces us to an older Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Obei-won Kanobi, Chewbacca, R2D2, C3P0, and Darth Vader. One of the only really new characters is Hans Solo.

The Star Wars ships in Episode 4 include the Millenium Falcon owned by Hans Solo, a Sand Speeder, X-Wing Fighters, Darth Vader's Ship, and of course the Death Star which is a ship in the shape of a planet.
