Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a video game set in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It follows the life of Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice, Starkiller. It was originally set for release in 2007 however, problems with moving the code onto the PS3 software caused the project to be delayed until 2008.
One of the games highly anticipated features was the new game engine used for the game, 'Ronin', developed internally by LucasArts, it integrates the physics engines Havok, euphoria, and Digital Molecular Matter.
Despite the different modes of gameplay, the Storyline of The Force Unleashed remains mostly the same on each game. It focuses around Starkiller's stuggle with the light side and dark side of the Force. He starts of as a Dark side adept and either works his way towards the light or dark side of the Force resulting in several different game endings being available. (read more)

So short, but so very sweet
Honestly, there are few real life experiences I can compare this game to. I even got in line on release day, all for about a dozen hours of game play. BUT THAT GAMEPLAY!! Better than sex? Probably not, but a relatively near third maybe (alcohol being #2). It might not be worth sixty bucks, but it's the closest I'll probably ever get to being a real Jedi. If you're still not sure, get the book, but if you want to LIVE this adventure, go for broke and get the game.

- LucasArts have confirmed that they will be following through with their promise to bring a demo for TFU to the XBLM and PSN this month -- a playable preview will be downloadable via the two services starting Thursday, August 21.
- Why is Vader's Apprentice Killing Stormtroopers?
- The apprentice needs to mantain his anonymity, only darth vader, his pilot and%uFEFF droid know he exists. If he were discovered by the emperor, he would be executed or forced to challenge vader for the role of apprentice (sith rule of two) . He kills the stormtroopers to prevent any reports of him from reaching the emperor thus preserving said anonymity.
- Is the wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed the same as the PS3 and XBOX360 versions?
- The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are essentially the same. The story plays out a little differently in the particulars and the graphics are toned down a notch. For the chart containing the game's controls on Wii, click here
