Star Trek XI - Directed by J.J. Abrams "Star Trek Movie"

Spoiler Warning!
The film explores the origins of James T. Kirk, Spock and the crew of the USS Enterprise from the original "Star Trek" series and how these iconic characters came together. According to rumors, the story involves an elder Spock (Nimoy) and a group of Romulans (led by Nero, played by Bana) being transplanted into the past where Spock must prevent the Romulans from irreparably damaging the timeline. To do so, he will have to enlist the assistance of his younger self (Quinto).

Paramount has announced that it has hired people to start working on the sequel! Before the film is out they must be imagining that Star Trek XI is a hit already.
I just saw Star Trek XI, fantastic! Well done to JJ Abrams and crew! It was a bit over the top with unnecessary action and danger and overly fast paced but the story stayed pretty much true to the original Star Trek characters and their mannerisms, except for the frequent smootching of Capt. Kirk and Lt. Uhura.

New Ice World Monster in Star Trek XI

This new monster in Star Trek XI looks pretty serious, that is Kirk about to be it's lunch

Star Trek XI on Blu-ray DVD

The action and visuals make for a spectacular Big-Screen Movie, though the plot by Abrams and his writers, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman can be a bit of a mind-bender

J.J. Abrams' 2009 feature film was billed as "not your father's Star Trek," but your father will probably love it anyway. And what's not to love? It has enough action, emotional impact, humor, and sheer fun for any moviegoer, and Trekkers will enjoy plenty of insider references and a cast that seems ideally suited to portray the characters we know they'll become later. Both a prequel and a reboot

STAR TREK is not only one of the best movies this year, it is, without a doubt, the best Star Trek movie. This is exactly what the ailing series needed. It is awesome, funny, yet sticks quite well to the source material; and each character truly immerses themselves into their respective roles.

J.J. Abrams truly created a masterpiece. Also, this is for the Blu-Ray version, but visually, is it top-notch. This IS demo material!

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - The Director's Cut

Ricardo Montalban played the villian in Star Trek II and passed away on Jan. 14, 2009

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - The Director's Cut (Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition) (1982)
Unanimously the best of all the Star Trek films!
Ricardo Montalban was from Mexico and played Khan Noonien Singh in The Wrath of Khan.

Clearly Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan is, in my opinion, one of the best Star Trek films. It certainly did a lot more to please long time fans and draw in new ones, than did The Motion Picture. Drawing on a very powerful character from the original episode, Khan Noonien Singh. Ricardo Montalban delivers a powerful performance. William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForrest Kelly and all the other original characters do a wonderful job of bringing their characters to life in this film.

The Director's Edition is a true joy, containing everything that should've been put on this DVD when it was originally released. Being an avid fan of the Star Trek books, the feature with Greg Cox (one of the best trek authors) and Julia Ecklar (half of the LA Graf writing team) was a pure joy. Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan is a pure Sci-Fi, genre masterpiece and the Director's Edition DVD is a must for your collection!

Star Trek - First Contact

Star Trek - First Contact (Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition) (1996)

In their second big screen adventure, the year is 2373 and the crew of the Enterprise-E has learned the Borg has returned. Because of Captain Picard's past experiences with the Borg, Starfleet has ordered the Enterprise to stay out of the fight. Realizing too much is at stake, Picard disobeys orders and takes the Enterprise to Earth. His knowledge of Borg technology leads the Federation fleet to victory, but a Borg sphere escapes and opens a temporal vortex. The Enterprise pursues and travels back to April 4, 2063; the day before the first warp flight.

This two Disk DVD Set is extraordinary. The Picture and Sound quality are so very good that you feel as though you are watching it in a theater. Because it's a widescreen picture the closed captioning doesn't interfere with the picture. It's jam packed with all sorts of extra bonus special features. Everything you ever wanted to know about First Contact and weren't afraid to be told. Let's not forget what a wonderful job Jonathan Frakes did directing. He truly proved himself a more than qualified director for feature films. We all know what a great job he did behind the cameras on the T.V. show. My boyfriend and I watched it together and he was really impressed. He asked me how much it cost. When I told him how inexpensive it was he bought two copies. One for a gift to another Treky fan. I highly recommend this two disk set and suggest you buy it right away before they run out. If you're not satisfied with it, I'll pay you for it. That's how much confidence I have that you'll absolutely LOVE it. Believe me when I tell you this is one purchase that you will never regret. ORDER NOW!!!

Star Trek 4 - The Voyage Home Dvd [1987]

The most popular movie in the "classic Trek" series of feature films, Star Trek IV was a box-office smash

The Voyage Home returns to one of the favourite themes of the original TV series--time travel--to bring Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, and Chekov from the 23rd century to present-day (ie, mid-1980s) San Francisco. In their own time, the Starfleet heroes encounter an alien probe emitting a mysterious message--a message delivered in the song of the now-extinct Earth species of humpback whales.

This film is a great Star Trek movie. It really makes up for the disappointment of the previous movie (The Search for Spock)
The great thing about this film that sets it apart from all the other Star Trek films is that it takes all our favourite Trek characters out of their normal setting and puts them into one that is alien to them but familiar to us (present day America). In doing this we get the chance to laugh at the flawed attempts of these incredible people from the future to cope with the world that we live in. Spock is especially amusing in this scenario. This film helps fans and none fans of Star Trek connect with the characters in a way like they have never done before.

This is the most successful Star Trek film ever and it is easy to understand why. I recommend this film to everybody alike. It is great.
