- Star Charts. I remember back when I was much younger that I'd boast around our house every time I got a star on my paper. The star seems to be the source of pride and fulfillment for children. Likewise it pushes them to work harder and strive to earn another star. Great lens!

- Star charts seem like a good idea but I have found that they often have a negative effect on the kids with the least stars. When stars are used by children to reward themselves for goals that they have set themselves, I find that they work very well, offering a visual reminder of all that he or she has accomplished.

- great resource here! a well deserved 5 stars.
What I'd like to see is some info/examples of when and how you reward and what the prize is after getting a certain number of stickers for example. Do you take away something for not doing a chore or behaving badly or do you just focus on positive rewarding?
thanks for the great lens.

- When I saw the title -- star charts for kids -- I was thinking as in horoscope or astrology. Positive reinforcement is such an important element in ALL of our lives -- start with kids and continue through adults and senior citizens to give us meaning and define our purpose.
