Terrain Vs Protoss Basic Strategy

In the Starcraft 2 game the Terrain race has disadvantages to Protoss. The Marines, Drop ships and Mauraders are not able to stand against the combination of Protoss, Sentry, Zealot and Stalker. This is a very effective starcraft 2 strategy if we are tired of losing to Protoss in the game of Terrain and the Mauraders are also not required to be used. The strategy of anti-air attack is implemented with a combination of Siege Tanks, Marines and Ghosts. They are the main components of the army but we don't want to limit ourselves and depend on these units. The Ghosts are increasingly used against Protoss as they have an EMP ability that drains the shields of protoss units and shift the battle in favor of Terrain.

Terrain Vs Protoss - Beginning of the game

In the beginning, we can start with the illusion of standard Terrain building. After 9 supply, the supply depot supplies 11 straight into the barracks. A scouting probe thinks that we are going to mass Mauraders and Marines. The things are going to be changed a bit. At 13 supplies, the first refinery has been thrown. On 15 supplies, our orbital command is executed. The marines are pumped toward the zealot rush as they are building. At 16 supplies, the second refinery must be grabbed with the help of gas. To double the Marines, the reactor of barracks must be teched on and instead of building second Barracks, the reactors move straight away for a factory and few Hellions are pumped when the factory finishes. Then we have to move immediately into a Star port. A Tech Lab is required in the Factory for Siege Tanks. After Star port finishes, tech to a Tech Lab is required. A Raven must be taken as soon as the Tech Lab finishes for some reasons. The Raven wards off the nosy observers and later becomes very handy.

Siege Tanks

After this build, Siege Tanks are the main priority in Starcraft 2 terrain vs Protoss game. A decent army of Hellions and Marines are required to deflect the incoming attacks. The next move may be the first expansion. The Siege Tanks have plenty of base defenses to defend your expansion. The next priority is you're Ghosts. This is a must. Their EMP's can change the momentum of a battle with Protoss in a hurry. A second Factory is in order as well to increase tank production.

Banshee's

BansheeSomething else recommended to build Banshee's with this strategy in order to harass is that when the opponent realizes that he is not able to beat your ground game, he goes in the air. In this case, a Marine and Viking production is required. A mass of Tanks and no defense against Void Rays can worse the Carriers. This starcraft 2 strategy is very effective against the ground game of Protoss. We must not be discouraged if this strategy not works immediately. If we practice and devote the time, it pays us off in the game.

Protoss Vs Terran Basic Starcraft 2 Strategy

Starcraft 2 Protoss strategyPlaying as a Protoss player against the Terran is really difficult because as you know that Terran have the capacity to keep on changing frequently so it is very difficult to scout them. It is very important for the Protoss Player to know about the enemy so that they can build the right counter units immediately to fight against them but it is really very difficult to scout in case of good Terran Players. So, to help you this article will offer you some major tips that you have to follow if you want to defeat a Terran Player.
The very first thing that is to be discussed is scouting, scouting is the main key if you want to win the game as a Protoss player. If you scout in the early stage of the game then you will be able to use correct units to counter the units of the enemy. So, it is very important to build an observer in the early stage of the game and try to get into the base of the Terran to see what they are preparing against you.

Colossus

Colossus Starcraft 2If you see that they are using loads of marines and marauders against you then immediately you should build some colossus because they can fight well against the marines and marauders. But along with building the colossus you should also have some zealots along with you so that you can protect the colossus from any attacks. On the other hand if they are using loads of huge units like tanks and thors against you then you should build some immortals to dominate the huge units of your enemy without even taking that much damages. Moreover, the Terran player may also utilize air attacks against you so you should be ready for this. They may use banshees and vikings for air attack so to fight against their air units you should build bunches of stalkers with the help of which you will be able to take down the banshees. But it is for your knowledge that you should not try to build air units while playing against the Terran Players because to fight against the air units of the Terran marines can be used which can easily destroy the air units of their enemy and also marines can defend against the void ray attack or even a few carriers.

Stalkers

Stalkers Starcraft 2Another thing that you have to watch out in the early stage of the game is the reaper attack. But if you want to fight against them then you have to build some stalkers as soon as possible. So, if you want to win the game then you have to follow the aforementioned steps and also you should try to learn the weaknesses and strengths of your units which will help you to beat any good Terran Player.
