For anyone that has never blogged before, you might want to start a test blog just to get the feel of it. You'll want to become familiar with the blogging platforms that you will be using and know how to make a post.

While most blogs are free, you are also going to see that many of them are quite different. You will have to get to know the kind that you are using, and want to use. Otherwise, you might get lost along the way.

So starting a blog and just blogging for a little while will help you with this. You can blog about anything that you want to. Maybe journal for a few weeks, or talk about your favorite movies...

This book is about how blogging is changing the way customers think about businesses. If you're not looking for this kind of read, but instead blog just for fun, this book may not be the one for you. But I promise you, it IS a good read!

Learning SEO and applying it to your blogs is something else that you may want to do. This will help you as far as search engine rankings are concerned and will allow you to go further up the page.

After all, that is the point to all of this, right?

If you do not have time to learn what SEO also known as search engine optimization is all about, you may want to hire someone to apply it to your blog for the best results. You will find that some SEO gurus are quite affordable.

A great way to earn money from your blog: 

I found out about something the other day called ClickBank Mall.

In case you don't know, ClickBank is an affiliate network you join and earn between 50% and 75% on any purchases as a result of your promotions. And that high percentage means you're looking at probably between $15 and $35 per sale.

And now the easier way to make these sales (of products written by other people!) is not to list individual links in different places. It is to have a clever ClickBank Mall. A library for people to browse.

I'm loving it.

The one downside is this: maybe the price is a little high for you right now if you're just beginning your internet marketing career. It's set at $79.

It's worth checking it out, at least. For what you get, $79 is really cheap. But compared to what you might be earning online right now, $79 might seem expensive!

Actually, that's probably the best reason you have to get this thing. 2 or 3 sales and your money is back in your pocket. Go for it!
