Changing My Internet Marketing Strategy: Starting My Marketing Journey With Alex Jeffreys

Needing A New Internet Marketing Strategy

I've been doing affiliate marketing for a couple of years now. Even though I've been somewhat successful at making money online, I haven't reached the levels I'd hoped to. I have to spend most of my time working just to keep my head above water so in order to change that, I finally realized I needed to take another approach.

Starting My Journey With Alex Jeffreys

Why I decided I needed help and hired an internet marketing mentor

A lack of organization is one of my problems. I tend to tackle tasks as they arise rather than prioritizing them and taking care of the most important ones first .

That inevitably means I may end up spending more time on a trivial task than an important one and so business suffers as a result .

The consequences of not dealing with some issues, like paying bills, are enough to get most of us to deal with them on time (and when possible), regardless of how disorganized we may be .

If I could apply that sense of urgency to other aspects of my business, I'd see some positive results ensue .

I came to the realization that I needed to change my internet marketing strategy. And at just the right time, Alex Jeffreys' internet marketing coaching program came along. I finally realized that in order to progress beyond where I got to under my own steam, I need to get a mentor. And through his coaching program, Alex is just that .

His course began a couple of weeks ago and consists of weekly 4-hour webinars, more or less half of which is devoted to a Q&A session with members. The first webinar, Forward To Basics, gave we students a whole new mind-set in how to run a business and this is the groundwork upon which all else is built . This involves learning time management skills and being able to set realistic goals and make plans for them.

As a bit of homework, Alex has asked his students to build their own blogs. This establishes them as an online presence so they can start to build authority for themselves over time. Since students of all levels are in his coaching program, some will be out of their depth with such a task. However, additional training is provided in the members area for those who need it and the dynamic community of former students are willing to give a hand to anyone who has difficulties .

Just a couple of weeks into Alex's coaching program, I can already see that I'll have to unlearn some bad habits and change some aspects of the way I work. It's obvious that Alex cares about his students - he talks with them rather than at them. He's come up through the ranks himself via his own mentors (Mike Filsaime, Rich Schefren and others) and the plan he has in mind for his students' future is pretty darn exciting!
