2009 Star Trek - the 11th Star Trek movie

Set in a time just before the Original Star Trek Series, where Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Chekov, Sulu and Scott first meet on the USS Enterprise. The movie is a fast-moving explosive story with great special effects and affectionate references to the Original Series it prequels. However, not all the "facts" from the Original Series are retained, but this is explained away by an "altered timeline"!

It is rumoured that the stars of this movie have contract options for 2 more movies, which I am looking forward to seeing.
