Boys And Their Starwars Lego Toys
There's two things that most boys can identify with in one way or another: Lego and Star Wars. It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone then that these two iconic institutions in any boys bedroom found each other. The result? Starwars Lego Toys.
Any parent knows, that toys comes and goes, many of them are temporary fashion items, so why is it that Starwars Lego Toys remains? In my opinion it's two things. Innovation and Quality! Even though the first Star Wars films came out decades ago (and back then they were really something special), LucasFilm has managed to keep the momentum going, in this classic battle between good and evil in space.
Lego has been one of those toys that just won't go away either. Most kids playing with them now a days will have not only parents, but also grand parents (maybe even great grand parents!), who have fond memories of these ingenious pieces of plastic. Did they have all the intricate little pieces back then? No! Did they build spaceships and starcruisers of the pieces they had? You bet!
This is exactly what makes the Starwars Lego Toys of today special!

Starwars Lego Toys - From A Carpenters Workshop?
From Humble Beginnings To Global Super Brand - The Lego Story
Lego was founded in 1932 by Danish Carpenter, Ole Kirk Christiansen. Due to the economic depression in the late 1920s and early 1930s he was out of a job, and decided to start making wooden toys for his children. The name Lego was coined by Ole Kirk Christiansen as an abbreviation of the two Danish words "Leg Godt", which translates into "Play Well", and to this day that is what Lego is all about!
In the early 1940s, Lego expanded into producing plastic toys, and in 1949 the interlocking Lego bricks that we've all come to love saw the light of day.
Of cause things has developed an awful lot since then - but at he heart of it all remains 2 motto's or aspirations - "Play Well" and "Only The Best Is Good Enough". The latter motto was used by Ole Kirk Christiansen to encourage his employees never to take their eyes off of the quality of the product, something which is still essential to the Lego Brand.
Lego is, by most of its fans (myself included), seen a fun, challenging and educational toy, which lets lose your imagination, curiousity and creativity. It's all about learning while playing! And that's why Lego remains a firm favorite with kids, builders and collectors of all ages
The Reason Why We've Got Starwars Lego Toys
The Star Wars saga consists of 2 trilogies, of which chapter IV-VI was released first, and the prequel chapters I-III were released, with chapter I coming out 20 years after the release of chapter IV.
Star Wars has given us more characters, toys and spin-offs than what I could possibly name here, with Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda and R2D2 being the most popular. Scenes from the films that sticks with most people are the lightsaber battle between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, and the battle between the Empires' AT-AT Walkers and the Rebel Scout Speeders.

If you're a Star Wars fan who just needs to have every Star Wars Item available - or a Lego fanatic who needs no excuse for taking up a challenge - these Items are for you!
