Star Wars Mighty Muggs - Darth Vader - Darth Revan

Star Wars Mighty Muggs are all the rage now!  These collectible 6 inch action figures from the Star Wars Universe are brought to you by George Lucas and Hasbro Toys. These collectible dolls have grown in popularity with children, adults, hobbyists and fans worldwide. Reasonably priced at around $10.00 a piece, many of these figures often sell out fast through major retail outlets -- which in turn, make them highly valuable when found elsewhere, such as eBay, trade markets or other auction sites.

Within this collection, there are plenty of characters to collect too, and there doesn't appear to be any type of slow down, as each wave appears to shell out more and more new of your favorite characters. Each of the vinyl figures are painted in great detail and some of them come with props, such as a blaster or lightsaber. Their heads and arms move, so you can pose them and stage them in any type of display showcase. Of all the Mighty Muggs collectibles, the Star Wars Mighty Muggs have the largest collection of characters available.

"The force is with you young Skywalker... but you are not a Mighty Mugg yet."

These are Darth Vader Mighty Muggs. They could have improved this design much more I think. For starters, since when did Darth Vader ever have eye balls? I think they should have extended the Vinyl around the eyes to make them more puffy... to look more like the goggle lenses he really has rather than eye balls.  Plus, some "gloss" paint to establish the whole "Polished" look rather than the matte black finish.  After all, Darth Vader has an extremely shiny costume, particularly his helmet.

"Mmphhh... Rooaaahhhh Gugggaaaa"

These Chewbacca Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a crossbow prop. I really like this one and many Star Wars fans seem to agree.  This one is quite popular and is adorable!  Kinda looks like a baby Chewy, doesn't it?  :-)  Yes, Chewbacca is ready for purchase and is just waiting for you to buy him!

"You know... sometimes I amaze even MY MIGHTY MUGG."

These Han Solo Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster prop. Just what every collection needs... a sarcastic, egotistical hero! (LOL!) This is great -- even the expression on his face with that devilish smirk fits the mold. It's hard not to buy the most famous smuggler in all the galaxies.  :-)

"What if he doesn't survive? His Mighty Mugg is worth a lot to me."

These Boba Fett Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a jet-pack prop. Probably the most mysterious Star Wars character of them all and one that the fans felt let down by the way he died in Return of the Jedi. A classic bounty hunter to add to your collection.  I was let down with this design, as I'm not sure why they didn't give him a rifle blaster or a wrist rocket for a prop.

"At last we can reveal ourselves to the Mighty Muggs. At last we will have revenge."

These Darth Maul Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a staff lightsaber prop. He looks menacing enough and makes a great addition to any collection.  My only complaint is that he has no cloak.  I think a nice cloak would have added more authenticity to this urban vinyl figure.

"There's a Mighty Mugg... set for stun! "

These Stormtrooper Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster prop. Again, the same thing happens here as with Darth Vader, the Storm Trooper has eyes.  I'm not exactly sure why they did this, especially when you see the Iron Man edition from Comic Con below, as they didn't add eyes to his figure. Oh well, still worthy of adding to any collection.  :-)

"R2-D2! You know better than to talk to a strange Mighty Mugg!"

These C-3PO Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with no props. C-3PO looks innocent enough to capture it's authenticity.  However, one thing you'll notice on this urban vinyl figure that is truly authentic is that C-3PO has one silver leg. Some of you might be wondering why, yet true fans already know the answer... it's because in Episode 4 (Star Wars: A new Hope), you'll notice that C-3PO does, in fact, have one silver leg.  It's hard to pick up because we assume he is all golden, but the mere fact is, he was always made out of scrap junk through their travels... hence, one silver leg. :-)

"Only a Mighty Mugg deals in absolutes... I will do what I must."

These Obi-Wan Kenobi Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. Not a whole lot goes into this because, well... let's face it, Obi-Wan wasn't really all that exciting until the latter episodes with Luke. It looks good though and the beard adds a nice touch.

"I want to come with you to Alderaan and become a Mighty Mugg like my father."

These Luke Skywalker Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. Luke Skywalker looks great in my opinion. He looks like a young man who is ready to go out and take on the galaxy! This is a MUST HAVE for any collection, and if you're just starting to collect now, then I would pick this one up first, as they are very hard to find.

"You're referring to the prophecy of the one who will bring balance to the force. You believe it's this Mighty Mugg?"

These Mace Windu Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. This one always makes me giggle because it looks so much Samuel L. Jackson, you just can't help but to reprise his role of Jules from Pulp Fiction.

My husband (the big kid he is) grabbed him off the shelf and pointed him at Darth Maul saying lines from Pulp Fiction, "What does Master Yoda look like? What Galaxy are you from?!! What ain't no galaxy I ever heard of! They speak English in What?!! English M*** F*** -- Do you speak it?!! Then you know what I sayin'?!! Describe what Master Yoda looks like!!!  Does he look like a B****?!!  Does he look like a B****?!!" (LOL!) Great fun when you add this to your collection... it's addicting!

"I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the Mighty Muggs."

These Jango Fett Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with two blasters props and Jet-pack. Definitely one of my favorites!  And yet another one that is hard to get for just $10.00!  Should be added to any collection!

"You look absolutely beautiful. You truly belong here with us among the Mighty Muggs."

These Lando Calrissian Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a cape. Yet another great design that strongly resembles the great Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian. Just look at the flirtatious grin! Lando was a great character and this urban vinyl figure will go well with your collection.

"Would somebody get this walking Mighty Mugg out of my way!"

These Princess Leia Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster prop. Ok, who can resist a Princess Leia, especially when all the little boys back then had such a crush on her? :-) This looks great and authentic, especially with the two cinnabons attached to her scalp! (LOL!) I am glad they put a stern look on her face, because that was her character type -- tough and brave.

"Blast that Mighty Mugg!"

These Commander Cody Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster prop. Yet another great design that strongly resembles the original.  I honestly don't know much about this character, but many Star Wars fans are big fans of him.  I honestly don't know why?  He was on screen for about 2 minutes (if that!)  Maybe it's like the Boba Fett thing -- kind of mysterious?

"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? And well you should not. For my ally is the Mighty Mugg, and a powerful ally it is."

These Yoda Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. Another one of my favorites!  But where is his walking stick? He has another hand just waiting for that walking stick!  Also, if you take away the ears, he looks like a turtle, doesn't he?  :-)

"Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the Mighty Muggs will be complete!"

These Emperor Palpatine Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightning blast prop. Great expression on his face including his disgusting teeth.  The electicity shooting from his finger tips looks a little cheesy, but I suppose they had to give him some sort of prop, as he is the Master Sith Lord.  :-)

"I am ready! I can be a Mighty Mugg! Ben tell him I'm ready!"

These Bespin Luke Skywalker Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. A nice change up from the other Luke Skywalker urban vinyl figure, as this one carries a black eye after being defeated and battered by Darth Vader. This one is easier to find in most stores as of now, but as time goes on, I'm sure it will be sold out.

"I will deal with this Mighty Mugg slime myself!"

These General Grievous Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with duel lightsabers as props. A great urban vinyl figure with duel light sabers and cape. General Grievous is a popular character amongst Star Wars fans, but the lack of his performance in Episode Three left much to be desired. Fans are hoping for more with his return in the upcoming new Star Wars animated film, "The Clone Wars." Expect this urban vinyl figure to be sold out quickly when the movie comes out.

"It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force... but by our skills as a Mighty Mugg."

These soon to be released Count Dooku Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with lightsaber as a prop as well as lightning. Another character that was barely shown in the newer movies and had so much history with the Jedi. This is a nice addition to the collection and should be more popular with the upcoming Clone Wars animated film.

"Come Padawan... your fall shall be my ascension to the Mighty Muggs."

These soon to be released Asajj Ventress Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a duel lightsaber prop. This one is selling out fast as of this posting and it will likely be hard to find, so GRAB IT while you can!  What I think is funny is that they show her cleavage! (LOL!)  That is too funny!

"In my book, Mighty Muggs outranks everything!"

These soon to be released Captain Rex Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with two blasters. This one just looks really cool, doesn't it?  I love the ones with duel lightsabers or duel blasters.  This will be quite popular too after the film opens, so get it quick!

"Love won't save you, Padme! Only the Mighty Muggs can do that!"

These soon to be released Anakin Skywalker Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a lightsaber prop. Ok, call me crazy, but I'm just not a fan of Anakin Skywalker. I find him boring and rather dull -- a bit of a spolied brat somewhat... and the urban vinyl figure depicts that too! But nevertheless, this is an absolute MUST HAVE for any collection, especially since there wouldn't be a Star Wars without him, since he was the "Chosen One."

"Luke... help me take this Mighty Mugg off!"

These soon to be released Unmasked Darth Vader Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with lightsaber. This one will likely sell out very fast, as darth Vader is the most popular Star Wars character of them all. It looks good, and from what I understand, his face has a bluish tint to it, even though it appears somewhat white here. Expected release time is around October - November 2008.

"Oh gosh... and I thought Mighty Muggs smelled bad on the outside!"

These soon to be released Hoth Han Solo Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster. Love this one! The detail is great and the protective goggles look almost three dimensional, don't they? I can't wait for this to come out.  Expected to be released in October - November 2008 and should sell out rather quickly.

"I am a Jedi, therefore I deserve to be a Mighty Mugg!"

These soon to be released Plo Koon Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with lightsaber. A mysterious character that doesn't say or do much within the films -- not even in the latest Clone Wars animated movie. I still do not understand why he has his own Mighty Mugg besides looking cool.  You have to admit his makeup is pretty amazing. Expected release time is around October - November 2008.

"You're far too trusting. Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration - but don't worry, we'll deal with your rebel Mighty Mugg friends soon enough."

These soon to be released Grand Moff Tarkin Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall. Who can deny owning this Nazi like character for their collection and how many of us hated him so much? :-)  Regardless, a nice addition to the family and I will buy this one for my very own collection.  Arrives in October - November 2008.

"I am a Mighty Mugg -- Not a Chippendale Stripper!"

These soon to be released Darth Maul Mighty Muggs Version 2 stands at 6 inches tall and comes with duel lightsaber. Ok, is this one really necessary? All they did was remove his shirt and hide his teeth.  Sorry, but since when is the Dark Side of the force down with being a Chippendale's Dancer?  :-)  Expected release time is around December 2008.

"I did not make it into any of the movies, but I'm beloved in the gaming world!"

These soon to be released Darth Revan Mighty Muggs stands at 6 inches tall with a lightsaber. Who exactly is Darth Revan? Well, only the true fans can tell you the answer.  He only appears in the novels and video games but not in the films. As such, I do not believe he will be a hot commidity when he arrives, as many will not know who he is.  I will, however, collect him just to make my collection complete.  :-) Arrives in December 2008.

"It's a trap! Move the Mighty Muggs away from the Death Star!"

These Admiral Ackbar Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches in height. I really love this one! An exclusive, limited release with ONLY 3000 available, you can expect that these will sell out fast and be offered on eBay for well over $100.00 a piece after they sell out. I will be on the look out for these as I want to add them to my own collection. The detail looks great and he is one of the memorable creatures in the Star Wars saga. EXPECTED RELEASE DATE IS OCTOBER 2008.

These Shadow Trooper Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and come with a blaster prop. These are a LIMITED EXCLUSIVE RELEASE to only 3000 figures in production. Like Admiral Ackbar, expect this Shadow Trooper urban vinyl figure to sell out fast! MSRP again is at $20.00, but highly unlikely that it will sell at that price. These Commander Gree Mighty Muggs stand at 6 inches tall and comes with a blaster prop. I love this mugg! Great detail with scuffed paint on the helmet and nice blaster at his side. This is an exclusive collectible and very hard to get for the price of $10.00. The best place to find this will likely be at eBay and is expected to go for around $50 or more when the holidays come closer.
