I bought this for my son, and I can't wait till it arrives. It's the same price as a normal Mr. Potato head, but with 80% more evil. It even includes the storeage compartment we all know an love.
I wonder if it's authentic and includes George's script ideas in the compartment. If it did it would confirm the location that I felt he was getting the last two movies out of. ;D"

I guess I must be easily amused because just the names got me giggling - Darth Tater and Spud Trooper. Darth has a light saber and Spud has a potato masher.
The quality is okay. No different than past Potato Heads. This little boy got a lot of typical boy toys - Buzz LightYear, race car sets, die-cast cars and planes, etc. I figured if nothing else, his parents would get a kick out of them. Well, he played with these taters for hours. Even his 4 year brother along with my 4 year old boy got into it.
This toy worked out surprisingly well for us! I highly recommend both Star Wars Spud Trooper and Darth Tater!"

I bought this for my husband, a big Star Wars geek, to display at his desk. He LOVED it-and so did all the other geeks he works with. Amazon probably sold 20 the day he took it out of the box! (Yes, he took it out of the box, and no, I didn't buy 2. Toys are meant to be played with).
All the regular Mr. Potato Head parts are fun, but who needs those when you have the Star Wars Spud Trooper helmet, mask, and potato masher? But everything you're not using stores right in Mr. Potato Head. We were a little disappointed that the masher is not removable, but that's really no big deal."
