Step Into Reading Generator Rex

Random House Publishing is well known for their "Step Into Reading" program for young readers.

Each step is geared towards a specific reading ability, from the youngest beginner to the more confident pre-teen.

Step 1: Ready to Read
Preschool-Kindergarten (ages 3 - 5)

For children who want to take the plunge into chapter books, but still like colourful pictures.

Ages listed are there as guidelines only and you should look to your own child to see what reading level they are ready for.

The Generator Rex Books at this time are written for Step 3, children who are able to read on their own. Random House and Cartoon Network intend to release more books in the future.
