Stephanie Marie Hicks

I decided to write this lens about myself because I wanted to let people know
a little bit about me. Besides being a mom, a Doctor of Chiropractic, and a
Squidoo newbie, I am a passionate writer and a tree hugger. I have a close
friend named Sonny...my furry cat companion. I love dolphins too!

I love to Salsa the night away every blue moon. I haven't found a location to dance. I belong to a couple of Salsa Meetups but I have yet to show my moves to Atlanta.

I spend most nights nestled in a cozy blanket watching a good comedy with
my kids. I enjoy all of the little, special moments in life.

My favorite topics are food and nutrition, health and wellness, and wealth building. I am a vegetarian because it's the best choice for me. I know my family health history and it isn't pretty. Several of my family members are experiencing chronic conditions like Diabetes, Cancer, Hypertension, and Arthritis. I would like to experience the best health possible because I deserve to look and feel great.

My favorite quote is "The First Wealth is Health" by Ralph Waldo Emerson. I have learned through trial and error that if you allow your body to fall into imbalance it takes all of the fun out of this game called life.

So remember the KISS Principle...Keep It Simply Simple. Eat foods with ingredients that you can read and spell. Exercise a little and laugh a lot. Play to win!
