My favorite is a toss-up between The Stand and It when it comes to King's horror stories. But he'll never write anything that tops the Dark Tower series! Roland Deschain ROCKS! I haven't seen The Hunger Games yet, or read any of the books, but my daughter told me about the movie and it reminds me of King's The Long Walk, which is one of my favorite shorts. Love your lenses. We seem to like a few of the same authors. Yayyy!

Your "Stephen King Short Story List" is an inaccurate title, as it does not list his short stories at all. It lists his story collections. You may want to change that title. I also note that "The Bachman Books" is missing from this list. He also has an upcoming collection due out on November 9th entitled "Full Dark, No Stars."

Your section entitled "Stephen King's Latest Novel" is also out of date. Stephens last novel was "Under the dome," not Duma Key. You will want to update that as well.

Stephen King has so many works in print and on the screen, and has now delved into the comic book genre, I would think most people are fans of at least some of his work. Your lens is very well put-together. Please visit my lens, Roland Deschain of Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series and rate and sign my guest book. I'm lensrolling this. Thank you!

I always do things backwards. I was not a big King fan, although I liked some of the movies made from his books. Then an English professor suggested I get Stephen King's book, "On Writing." Then it made sense to read some of his books. I can't say I am a big fan yet, but I have learned a lot from reading his books.

This is a great lens and I'm lensrolling it to How Granny Gets Her Groove Back which is where I talk about Stephen King.

    Excellent job.

One of my favourites. Is there another author who can make you turn the page and look over your shoulder immediately afterwards? Nope.

I've read every one of his books because I love the way he writes. I believe someone once said they'd read his grocery list because he would probably make it that interesting. And if they didn't say it, I'm sayin' it now! It would be cool if you added a collection of some of the graphic phrases he's come up with (or used - but I'd never heard them before), like, "A done bun can't be undone", or how a dead guy is, "Eating a dirt sandwich". Anyway, nice lense!
