Becoming a Mighty Woman Of GOD

1 Some time later the word of ADONAI came to Avram in a vision: "Don't be afraid, Avram. I am your protector; your reward will be very great."

Deu_1:21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

Discouragement seems to come at me like waves battering an already weak shoreline. Tossing me to and fro relentlessly. Tearing apart any self esteem that may have began to develop in me. I often feel that I am nothing but a blight on humanity and of no value what so ever to My JESUS let alone this world.

On one such morning- it had been a particularly difficult week. I was at my lowest point, sitting in my taxi watching the sun rise over the beautiful Yuma desert. The sky was brilliant shades of gold, red pinks and purples. The voices in my head, screaming words of condemnation and regret, caused my heart to cry and my eyes to fade. I couldn't understand why GOD would allow someone as awful as me to even view HIS beauty. The pain was so terrible I couldn't go on! I had to pull myself out of this pain. I needed to pull myself together so I could attempt to take care of my passengers, with out thinking I reached up and turned on the radio, which I never did. I needed to drown the hatefulness out though. Maybe this would work! The first words I heard were "Good morning beautiful" Deep in my heart JESUS said I'm saying this to you!.. Tears streamed down my face and healing began in my heart. JESUS says I'm beautiful. What more could I need.

My love for searching and studying GODs word has lead me to many places and many sites. This one happens to be the first one I was ever introduced to. Just so happens the most wonderful Women of GOD I have ever met is the one who shared it with me. Her name is Dian, she is such and incredible inspiration to all that meet her. She teaches sunday school at the Upper Room Church in Parker Az and Drives for a senior food program delivering much needed meals to the elderly and people who are unable to get out of their homes. She not only feeds & witnesses to her clients be befriends them and prays for and with them. I am humbled to say this MIGHTY WOMEN OF GOD is my Mom!

Hello.. I am nothing spactacular or what many would consider "mighty". Im just your average, everyday mom who loves her FATHER GOD, her Husband and her children. I havent done any great things through this life but I strive daily to live my life as GOD would have me. A life that is pleasing to HIM, my Husband and my Children. One thing I have learned over the years is that women are very special to GOD and that HE gave us a very unique place on this earth. In order for us to become the mighty women HE set us up to be we must do what HE set out for us to do in Proverbs 31, we must study HIS word daily and apply it to our daily lives and we must pray continually.
