Steve Ditko: Famous Comic Book Artist (Amazing Spider-man)
Steve Ditko co-created the Amazing Spider-man for Marvel Comics with Stan Lee. After parting ways with Marvel Comics, Ditko later created such characters as Hawk & Dove, and Creeper for DC comics, and The Question for Charlton Comics.
His run on Amazing Spider-man is largely considered the definitive run for the character.
The below page highlights Steve Ditko Amazing Spider-man omnibus and Marvel Masterworks collections that are available for purchase, as well as, other Ditko comic and art auctions (including auctions for one of my favorite of his creations -- The Creeper (who first appeared in Showcase #73 published by DC Comics)).

Beware the Creeper
The Creeper first appeared in Showcase #73 in the late 1960's. Shortly thereafter, he appeared in his own regular series (titled Beware the Creeper) that only lasted 6 issues. Ditko's art appears in Showcase #73, and the first 4 issues of Beware the Creeper. My favorite cover of the series has to be #4 (although Showcase #73 is probably the most "iconic" of the character).

Fans of Steve Ditko will be glad to find the rare first edition of The Mocker collection. This black-and-white graphic novel contains all the vignettes that make up the entire series run, together for the first time under one cover. The art is classic Ditko, with bold and sharp strokes. The staccato style of Ditko dialog is here, too, telling a story of police and political corruption, with an ambitious underworld of crime and undercurrent of romance as well. Is the story's protagonist a fallen....0 points
