Yayfood and the calorie shifting method review
Hello everyone. This is Steve Gaidi.
In this lens I will review a relatively new diet program, Yayfood.
Yayfood was created by Rachel Rofe, out of her own experience - she had lost 100 pounds trying it on herself.
Keep reading to see how she did that.
Rachel Rofe and the creation of Yayfood
Rachel Rofe, the creator of Yayfood, has been struggling with weight loss issues throughout her entire life, from childhood through adolescence to adulthood. She had tried a variety of low fat diets, low carb diets, low calorie diets, you name it. With no results. So she tried a different approach. She actually devised her own diet, based on calorie cycling. This has pretty much the same principle as the calorie shifting method, which came into fame through the world famous fat loss 4 idiots diet (to read a review on fat loss 4 idiots, click here: fat loss 4 idiots review). She ended up losing 100 pounds, and being featured on Woman's World in November 2007 with her success story (the picture in the top righthand corner of this section is Rachel Rofe herself, from that very feature).
After much deliberation within herself, she decided to release Yayfood to the world, so everyone can be in on what made her succeed so much.
The calorie shifting method, AKA calorie cycling
why calorie shifting succeeds where other diets fail
Human metabolism is adaptive to this type of diet, so it ends up burning less and less fat, losing weight less and less, and your success ends up being short-lived. Now you are stuck - if you consume more once again, you actually end up weighing more than when you started out - because your metabolism isn't used to the old quantities anymore. That's a normal, natural reaction of your body - but it's the opposite of what you want.
The psychological part is that weight loss programs of the deprivation type is they simply starve you. On top of adding another serious level of misery, you are more prone to break your fat loss program if it makes you starve.
There's more: The weight loss programs that tell you to avoid all carbs, or all protein, and such - can be downright dangerous to your health. Carbs, Proteins, and fat - are all essential major food groups your body needs, when consumed properly of course. You can't avoid any of them entirely.
That's what Yayfood and the calorie shifting method aim to overcome. Cycling or shifting calories doesn't mean you eat less, or none at all, of a particular food group. It doesn't mean you have to starve. Calories Shifting means you change what you eat all the time. That way, you avoid the common problem of the common "just eat less" diets that fail so badly. Your metabolism doesn't get a chance to get used to smaller quantities of anything, or to any routine at all, so your body burns fat on a constant basis, and weight loss is consistent and fast. Calorie cycling, or calorie shifting, is a different way of thinking about dieting.

Pros and cons of Yayfood
Yayfood is relatively new. Again, there is a plus and a minus to it. The plus side is that Rachel Rofe and the people who help her with Yayfood are enthusiastic, like any person on a new venture is, and are just exploding with desire to help you get the best results out of Yayfood. They also have more time for you and quick responses to your every question than programs with more users. The minus is Yayfood has less experience and fewer success stories than fat loss 4 idiots, which has been around much longer - but Yayfood does have numerous enthusiastic testimonials on its belt.
Yayfood comes with a no questions asked, 8-week money back guarantee. So if you are not happy with it within that time, you get your fee back and that's that. There's no risk involved.

Steve's final note
I know how hard it is to lose weight. I haven't struggled with overweight, but I have friends who did, and I felt the pain of what they were going through. I myself come from the other end, I watch myself as I build muscle not to gain fat with it.
Calorie shifting programs like Yayfood require less willpower than regular diets do. But that doesn't mean it requires NO WILLPOWER AT ALL; It does. It requires that you follow it with some discipline.
I know you can do it. It's up to you to decide. Go for it.

Unfortunately I lost my money with Yayfood. Rachel Rofe promises to refund money if you are not satisfied AFTER joining. I wanted my money back the same day I joined, and still have not seen it. This is what happened to me: Posted July 24, 2008 |
