Why you shouldn't rely on a government handout
United States government seems hell bent on spending this country into oblivion. They seem to have taken the tack that there is an economic crisis going on, which gives them carte blanche to spend money that we do not have. Much of this has been presented as stimulus to ostensibly pull us out of this crisis.
Last week, Pres. Obama put forth a bailout for people who were not able to keep up with their mortgage payments this bailout of approximately $75 billion spread over an estimated 9 million troubled mortgages would net each mortgage holder approximately $8000. While many of these mortgage holders would like to get $8000 to put against their mortgage. This amount will not do very much to help the serious problem that these people have gotten into.
Many more people are being laid off which is exacerbating the problem. If you happen to be one of those people you are looking for options to pay your bills and put food on the table. I'm sure there many people out there who have been laid off and are having a difficult time finding new work. Many are looking for alternative ways to make money and they're looking into such things as MLM, consulting and making money from the Internet.

The unprecedented level of spending by the new administration and the Congress threatened the viability of the United States of America as we have known it. future generations in this country will look back on this irresponsible phase in our country's history and wonder what the heck were they thinking.
