As a marketer, I know how powerful a good stock photo can be. Stock photography can add a special touch to your website, advertising campaign, or annual report.

Luckily the Internet is now full of sites offering stock photography. However, which ones are the best? Below are my picks for the best places to buy stock photography.

1. iStock Photo 

EDITOR'S CHOICE

This is my favorite stock photography site. I'm They have almost 3 million files. Credits start as low as $1. Depending on the size you can purchase a picture from 1 to 20 credits.

Just because it's extremely cheap doesn't mean that the pictures are amateur. Every file was inspected for quality and legal integrity.

2. Getty Images 

If you need highly creative and visually stunning photos, this is your place. Although they are a bit pricey, you will get a beautiful picture in return. Their library of photos is one of the best on the Internet.

They serve an average of 3.2 billion thumbnails, 7.3 million visits and 4 million unique users in addition to an average of 175 million page views each month.

This website has a huge gallery containing over 350,000 quality stock photos by more than 30,000 photographers! There are a few usage restrictions so make sure you read the rules.
