Stomach Flattening Exercises

If you are looking to get rid of your belly, you can put into practice some great stomach flattening exercises. These exercises will help adding strength to the inner abdominal muscles and will make them tight so you'll appear to be thinner, when in reality you are just more "tight". Be aware though, that these exercises will flatten your stomach up to a point, the rest depends on your fat percentage levels.

Stomach Flattening Exercises Secrets

The first exercise is called "The plank" and I first saw it as part of a Pilates course. This excellent exercise is simple, yet hard to master. It works your inner abdominal muscles, also referred as your "core area". You'll imitate the form of a plank. To start, lie face down on the floor, and then "push up", (like doing push ups) and stay on the top position, holding for 30 seconds. Sound simple? Go ahead and try it. Doing this everyday will make your stomach look flat.

Another simple stomach flattening exercise is the "Tuck-In". It is an exercised performed in yoga and also works your inner muscles. To start, stand and breathe in air, then slowly let it out, while at the same time pushing your belly button to your spine, let go of all air, and bring back your stomach to the max. You'll feel those muscles work hard! Hold 10 secs and then repeat a couple of times.

Practice make perfect. If you commit at doing these stomach flattening exercises every day, you'll start developing muscles you never heard of and your stomach will look flatter and flatter!
