I`m going to go through some tips, methods and advice on how to eliminate this disabling disorder.

These irrational fears can be brought on for many differant reasons but commonly its talking to strangers, public speaking, job interviews. Most people will get alittle anxious when having to do these things but with Panic Attack sufferers its a whole lot more intense, to the point of them doing anything or everything they can to avoid those types of situations.

So how to stop panic attacks?
1. Make sure you get plenty of rest.
Most people these days have to rush around picking the kids up from school or meeting deadlines at work and live can be pretty hectic. Take some time off! pick one day of the week and for a couple of hours just lay down and relax with no distractions and yes thats means the TV goes off too!
2. Eat 3 full meals a day.
We too can be negecting our eating habits which plays a huge part in stress and anxiety. Make sure you eat 3 healthy meals a day and you will start to see improvements very quickly.
3. Get some exercise.
Ok I know I said that you are maybe rushing around all day, but that is not exercise so don`t start thinking it is! When i say exercise i mean either going to the gym and using the treadmill for 20 mins or go take the dog for a walk if you don`t have a dog borrow or buy one, they are great companions and you don`t have to worry about them judging you :)
4. Mental exercising.
Try and train your brain to detect the triggers when you have a Panic Attack, when it happens try to take a step back and understand what it is thats making you anxious, stop do nothing and count to 20 then reassess the situation. If you can do this everytime these episodes happen they will get less and less intense. I know its very scary at first, but in the long run it will be worth it!
5. Get medical advice!!!
If you think you are sufferering from Panic Attacks you must go and see your docter a.s.a.p, they are professionals and will know exactly what treatment to advise which may be a mild dose and anti-depressants if your case is really affecting your live. If your attacks arn`t that bad, its still a good idea to have a chat with your doctor as they may have other self help methods for you to use.
