Teeth Grinding: Causes and Solutions
You really need to go deep - to the cause of the problem if you want to stop teeth grinding permanently. Some of the causes are:
- Teeth misalignment - actually this can be the root of the problem and the symptom. Make sure you keep your teeth in order with proper hygiene and regular dentist visits.
- Stress. I am sure you don't want to look like the monster on this picture :). Make sure you take enough time for relaxation daily. Breathing exercises, deep relaxation, hypnosis - all of these can help alleviate the stress and help you stop teeth grinding.
Mouth guards can help temporarily but in the long run they can actually deepen the problem.
Constant medication to relieve pain is not a solution obviously.
In the most extreme cases jaw surgery might be necessary however it doesn't guarantee success, it is expensive and it will not help you with the root of the problem - eliminating the teeth grinding so sooner or later you will need another surgery.
The best approach is to use natural remedies to eliminate this problem. This might include different stress release techniques, hypnosis, facial massage and exercises, breathing techniques, even food you eat.
All these techniques promote the elimination of the cause of the problem hence help you stop teeth grinding permanently.

Stopping Teeth Grinding: My Personal Discovery
Teeth grinding at night is a tricky problem and may take some time before you identify the root of your constant headaches, jaw pains, teeth problems.
This is actually what happened to me. For me all these problems were isolated ones, not related to each other. At some point I was thinking that the cause of the problem was related to my teeth.
But after expensive dental procedures the headache, jaw pain and teeth problems continued so I decided to do my own research and to my surprise I learned about the "teeth grinding at night" problem - I've never heard of it before!
When I visited a doctor, he prescribed me some painkillers that I wasn't very happy to take since I knew they couldn't solve the problem - it was just a temporary relief.
After lots of online and offline searches I found this natural teeth grinding therapy that is non-invasive, safe and I could do it at home.
It included breathing techniques, exercises that made sense to me since I knew that in most cases teeth grinding is stress related and some kind of muscle relaxation techniques in the mouth and jaw area would solve the problem.
